Real honey is not cheap, and more than likely, cheap honey is not real honey. There is fierce competition worldwide for authentic honey. Before honey is listed on this website, it is vetted to meet our high standards.
We are passionate about supporting beekeepers! We know and have experience with beekeeping and the work that goes into harvesting honey. We hope this becomes a place for beekeepers to brag on their bees and the honey those bees make.
When given the opportunity, we encourage beekeepers to enter their honey into competition. If honey has won any honors, we make sure to note this on the descriptions. Additionally, we hope to educate about honey, even if it never competes.
We live in the beautiful state of Oregon with a great variety of pollination crops and plants for our beloved honeybees to forage. This means a wide variety of honey flavors are available. It's our opinion that honey from Southern Oregon is the best in the state!
